Onsi Saleh was recently announced as the new assistant general manager for the Atlanta Hawks. Saleh comes to the Hawks from the Golden State Warriors, where he served as vice president, basketball strategy & team counsel last season. He was previously the Warriors’ director of basketball strategy & team counsel in 2022-23 and basketball strategy/assistant team counsel in 2021-22.

Prior to his time with Golden State, Saleh spent five years with the San Antonio Spurs, finishing as the team’s director of strategy & process/chief of staff

After an incredible Final Four run in his first year assisting Head Coach Nate Oats, Ryan Pannone looks to continue growing the program into a national powerhouse for years to come.

Pannone comes from a different background than most assistant coaches in the college basketball ranks, previously serving as the head coach of the Pelicans G League affiliate for three seasons. Prior to that, his stops as an assistant, head coach or staff member included Angola, Israel, Germany, China, Korea and Slovakia. He also coached in junior college and high school in the United States

Jon Horst helps deliver NBA title

Horst, the 2018- 19 NBA Executive of the Year, graduated from Sandusky in 2002, before playing for Rochester College. He was a member of Rochester’s back-to-back United States Collegiate Athletic Association national championship teams in 2004 and 2005.

After building a solid supporting cast around Antetokounmpo, Horst and the Bucks finally broke through for their second-ever NBA title, earning a 4-2 series victory over the Phoenix Suns.
